BACKGROUND

Heritage Ceramics, Singapore’s only tile manufacturer was in the midst of moving and renovating their showroom in China when COVID-19 struck. The immediate disruption of travel and unknown timeframe of when travel could resume led Heritage to embark on a digital transformation to ensure continuity of their sales process.The goal was to enable relationship building virtually and ensure the digital process could mimic the physical sales experience as closely as possible.

STRATEGY

The team had to map out the entire sales process, and understand the important touchpoints and information necessary for an effective online sales engagement.

We partnered with Maticad, a leading software developer for the interior design industry to integrate some of their solutions into Heritage’s new digital experience.

Created a virtual showroom for customers to walk through, view & read details of tiles.

Live Guided Tour

A live guided tour feature for consultants to present & guide customers through the virtual showroom

3D Easy Tiler

A 3D room creator for customers to visualise the tile when applied on room floors or walls.

Tile in High Definition

A high definition render of tiles to show the texture, reflectiveness and grains

Automated Forms

Automated forms for customers to request for quotation or sample.

Tile Recommendation

Tile recommendation function on website that helps customers shortlist tiles based on their needs.

The new digital identity elevated Heritage’s brand positioning as a forward looking and future ready tile specialist. This enabled them to reconnected with customers internationally to build relationships and sales pipeline in the new normal.A strong digital front provided a wider outreach of international customers. The digital transformation also helped Heritage save time and resources as it enable quicker search and recommendation of products.
