Background
Mendaki Club is a youth led organisation under Yayasan Mendaki. It develops the community of the Malay/Muslim youths in Singapore through various programs and initiatives.
Strategy
The brief for the project is to establish a refreshed look as well as reflect confidence and progressiveness in its annual yearbook and photography.
Identity
Using patterns and shapes as the main concept to create a dynamic and edgy visual cue. We build the yearbook with multiple placeholders for images, adding a sense of community in the overall look and feel.
The colours were applied carefully to aid in emphasing content and images. Overall, portraying a modern outlook. The tone and manner we established was confident, energetic and modern.
Besides designing the yearbook, Piquant worked with Mendaki Club for its art direction and photoshoot. From moodboards to establish the style of imagery, to directing during the photoshoot, we worked closely with our client.
